Summer Programs for High School Students
Summer is right around the corner for students, and it is time to think about summer plans. I am meeting with my student to help them find great summer programs that meet their academic interests and goals. For some, it might be helping build a cheese factory in Guatemala because they are interested in serving underdeveloped nations and for others, it might mean taking a course in astrophysics at Harvard because of their fascination with astronomy. Many students decide to spend their summer at home and focus on community service. Whatever you decide to do this summer its time to start planning now.

Summer at Saddleback: Get noticed on your college application! High School student may gain an advantage in the application process if they complete a college course over the summer. Saddleback has a wide range of course, but make sure you enroll early! https://www.saddleback.edu/k12/high-school

Brown University: Summer@Brown courses are carefully chosen to represent a wide range of Brown Universities’ open liberal arts curriculum – a core principle of a Brown education. University of Southern California: Summer Seminars for high school and middle school students. COSMOS: An intensive four-week summer residential program for students who have demonstrated an aptitude for academic and professional careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects.
